White Willow was the basis of the synthesis of aspirin. It contains 15% standardized salicin extract and related compounds. It has been used for more than 2,000 years to relieve aches and pains of all sorts. White willow bark is used as an anti-inflammatory, fever reducer, analgesic, anti-rheumatic, and astringent. White willow bark is known to relieve headaches and to ease pain associated with inflammatory conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome.
