Body And Massage Oils

There are so many types of massage oils that singling out one brand or one type of oil is almost entirely a personal choice. However, there are 3 prevailing beliefs when choosing massage oils.

  1. The massage oil you choose should be one that feels and smells pleasant to your skin. No matter the brand you choose, if you don't like the feel and smell of a massage oil, you're going to feel less relaxed. Those muscles will be forgiving after a massage, but will your senses withstand the tropical fruity odor or the grit-like texture of some nut oils?
  2. Pick a product that contains natural ingredients and fewer or no chemicals. Why not? Although, some chemicals contained in massage oil isn't entirely harmful, going "natural" gives you peace of mind. Here's one caveat tho, if you have allergies to particular ingredients like nuts for instance, it's best that you stay away from those. So, be sure you remember to read the label in its entirety.
  3. It's affordable. By this we mean, don't buy the most expensive or the cheapest either. The most expensive doesn't always equal the highest quality nor does it meet each and everyone's expectations. On the other hand, an inexpensive massage oil although easier on the wallet, doesn't make it a better product for your skin. What works for some, may not work at all for you. So remember to buy the massage oil that works best for You.
