Shiloh Farms Brown Teff are delicious. SHILOH FARMS Domestic Brown Teff is a rich, sweet tasting grain with subtle notes of hazelnut and chocolate. Teff is a whole grain high in protein, carbohydrates, and fiber. Containing all 8 essential amino acids, its protein is high quality, on par with milk or meat. Teff is also rich in calcium and iron and free of sugar. Teff is almost completely composed of germ and bran; since the grain is too small to hull, it can't be refined or lose its nutritional value.

Suggested Use: |
To Cook: Add 1 cup of teff grain to 3 cups of water. Bring to a boil and simmer, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes, or until water is absorbed. Stir and let stand, uncovered, for an additional 5 minutes. Add salt to taste. |
