Aseptic Milk

Aseptic milk also known as Ultra High Temperature (or UHT) is milk that has undergone commercial sterility that kills virtually all the bacteria in milk and prevent spoilage.

Aseptic milk has a long average shelf-life of around 30 to 90 days compared to 10 to 21 days for conventional pasteurized milk. However, once UHT milk is opened it exposes itself to spoilage. On that note, remember that when you open it, you should refrigerate it after.
