March 22 is World Water Day
March 22 is World Water Day to raise awareness about water issues such as sanitation problems and water shortages in many parts of the world. Recent studies found that 2.1 billion people lack access to safe and clean water at home. Fortunately, there's so many things that we all can do and even small steps we take NOW can help over the long term. If you're interested in any of these hundreds of events held in observance of World Water Day, check out the United Nation's World Water Day Calendar of Events found here.
