If you’re a true cheese head (like us), National Cheese Doodle Day, observed annually on March 5th, is a cheesy celebration that delights snack enthusiasts of all ages. From their irresistible crunch to their cheesy goodness, cheese doodles have become a beloved snack-time favorite across the nation. Wisconsin, as one of the nation’s leading dairy producers and known as “America’s Dairyland” has been in the forefront in cheese snack manufacturing. Since the 1930’s, the late cheese snack pioneer Edward Wilson of Beloit, Wisconsin noticed “strings of puffed corn oozing from flaking machines”.
