Legend has it that pretzels were believed to have originated from European monks when they were used as a reward for children who learn to pray. Some historians found that pretzels are a symbol of human sacrifice to a Celtic goddess named Sirona. 

Whether you believe in reward or punishment, there's one thing that pretzel does best - it's yummy, Mmmm-good!
